We're Hiring a Studio Technician and Monthly Instructors at Still Life Ceramics Ferndale
Our Ferndale Location is Hiring! Our studio is looking for a full time ceramic technician as well as instructors in both wheel throwing and handbuilding. These positions require strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and a strong work ethic. Studio Technician:
$16 - $18/hr (based on experience), 4 days a week
Job Description: The Studio Technician is responsible for any and all responsibilities pertaining to the maintenance and growth of our community studio. This includes roles such as loading and unloading kilns, processing class artwork, maintaining and processing reclaim, and assisting with customer service.
Qualifications:

- Must be willing to work weekends
- Must be able to carry 50lbs
- Must have a basic understanding of the ceramic medium and its processes
- Experience in customer service and previous community spaces
- A strong worth ethic and ability to work smoothly with others

Monthly Wheel and Handbuilding Instructors:
$100/session (2hr each)
Job Description: We are looking for instructors for our beginning wheel and hand building classes. These classes occur at the beginning of each month for 4 weeks. Each week you will teach the students new skills utilizing our teaching guidelines and procedures to ensure a comprehensive experience for our students.
In order to prepare for the instructors position, we ask that you shadow our instructors for 1 month to understand how our classes operate.

About Still Life:
Still life ceramics is a community ceramics studio. We offer hour long and month long classes, workshops and memberships. Our mission is to cultivate creativity and community through clay. We are a small team of 4-5 people that work very well together in order to maintain the flow of the studio.
